because of the bonuses provided by high quality gems. Weapons, for instance, can have their damage boosted through the use of Emeralds for Critical Hit Damage or Rubies for a raw damage increase.Speaking in an interview with Shacknews, Blizzard's Production Director John Hight revealed that the studio has plans to deepen the socketing system with the possible introduction of Legendary Gems. The concept is not so different from what Runic Runescape games' Torchlight 2 has to offer. We don't have any short term plans at the moment, but we all agree that the socketing game is not super deep and we've said so before, revealed Hight. We are talking seriously about some legendary gem ideas that will offer new tactical options to Runescape players. Stay tuned as we do hope that this design gathers steam. Well, let's hope they don't take too long in going about implementing it.In the same interview, Hight also talked about adding new gameplay systems into the fold, as well as the possibility of implementing controller support to the PC version of the Runescape game.Obsidian Would Love to be Involved in Fallout 4 or the Next Skyrim. Speaking to CVG, Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart has said that he would love to make an RPG similar to The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.Following the recent release of South Park: The Stick of Truth, Urquhart was asked about the studio's partnerships with major publishers and their Cheap RS Gold IPs to which he responded: I won't even use names, but for us to go off and do our own Skyrim -like game that's going to be on next-gen consoles, I'd love to do that. I'm not saying we're talking to Bethesda about doing a Skyrim -like game or anything like that, but just saying that's something we continue to call up and talk to publishers aboutWe have a lot of experience doing that, we love to do it, and if we can get them convinced of an idea, or if they already want to do it, then that would be something that we would choose to do. He added that the studio was approached to make South Park and Star Wars: The Old Republic and would gladly consider making a game in similar renowned IPs. Speaking specifically about Star Wars and Fallout, Urquhart commented: The answer for Fallout is easy because a lot of us here were the guys who worked on the original Fallout. I was the lead designer on Fallout 2, Tim Cain works here and he was one of the core guys who came up with the original Fallout. Me, Tim, and a friend of ours named Chris Taylor were the guys who worked on the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system, which was the RPG system in Fallout. When it comes to Star Wars, I was seven and my mom took me to see Star Wars, and I saw Empire when it came out, and I saw Jedi when it came out. I'm in the Star Wars generation, so if anyone gives me any opportunity to make a Star Wars game I'd make a Star Wars game.
